Mike’s love of Banff and the Rocky Mountains began many years ago when he came from Ottawa for the Canadian Ski Championships. He later moved to the mountains to pursue his passion in the ski world after retiring as a high level competitor. Mike raced for many years at what today would be the National Development Team level. He then turned to coaching and teaching and he takes great pleasure in teaching clients in a simple, non-technical way that is both fun and enjoyable. Mike takes great joy in helping clients begin skiing and/or improving their skiing skills at any level. Interacting with people from all over the world is a big part of why he still loves to coach.

Outside of skiing, Mike is a Business Administration graduate and has a career in Sales and Administration in the Beverage, Food Equipment, Bottled Water and Golf Business and has been a Promotional Products business owner for over 20 years.
