Magalie Sephton

CSIA Level IV, Course Conductor Level I, ACA Level I

Currently Atlantic Canada's only active CSIA Level IV female, Magalie passed her CSIA Level IV in April 2022 and is excited to continue to share her joy of skiing with others. At present, she teaches amazing adults at Ski Wentworth, NS. If you have had the pleasure of visiting Ski Wentworth, you may have heard Magalie encouraging her students or giving high fives to celebrate their many successes. There is never a dull moment on the slopes with Magalie, whose adaptable and supportive style of teaching allows her to work with students of all skill levels in all conditions.

Magalie's ski career started at the young age of 22 months and skiing has been a part of her life ever since. Not surprising, considering a love of skiing runs in the family! Her uncle (Jacque Champoux) is considered a builder in the ski industry as the developer of an innovative approach to teaching skiing to children.

Magalie has been a member of the CSIA since spring 1996. She started to teach skiing, part time, at the Tremblant Snow School and did this until winter 2004-2005. After which, Magalie was not associated to a snow school per se, until her return to ski teaching winter 2016-2017, where she continues to teach and provide instructor training at Ski Wentworth Snow School. In the years between formally teaching skiing, Magalie was busy teaching her son how to ski and communicating to him the passion that she has always had for the sport. Magalie's son is now a CSIA Level II and strives to become a Level III in the near future.

Magalie can't wait to make turns with you!
